Ichigo Kurosaki is an ordinary high schooler—until his family is attacked by a Hollow, a corrupt spirit that seeks to devour human souls. It is then that he meets a Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki, who gets injured while protecting Ichigo’s family from the assailant. To save his family, Ichigo accepts Rukia’s offer of taking her powers and becomes a Soul Reaper as a result.
However, as Rukia is unable to regain her powers, Ichigo is given the daunting task of hunting down the Hollows that plague their town. However, he is not alone in his fight, as he is later joined by his friends—classmates Orihime Inoue, Yasutora Sado, and Uryuu Ishida—who each have their own unique abilities. As Ichigo and his comrades get used to their new duties and support each other on and off the battlefield, the young Soul Reaper soon learns that the Hollows are not the only real threat to the human world. – My Anime List

Unleash The Anime
Granted I understand it isn’t perfect but no series is. You can find flaws with every single show out there. Now this is just my opinion and I’m sure people out there think that this is the worst anime of all time. The best thing is though is that you can watch the show and make your own opinion. Personally I loved watching Bleach and enjoyed the journey that it took me on. If you haven’t watched it I highly recommend it!
The thing I don’t like about Bleach is it has whole ARCS of fillers.
It starts with the main plot then it has an arc of something related slightly, then back to the plot.
I really love the way they blended in other cultures into this.
Anime News Network
So is it really just Naruto with dead people? Or is it an epic saga in its own right? The unique characters and look of Bleach guarantee that it will, at the very least, rise above the muddle of interchangeable shounen series and march on with its own unique vision of the afterlife. There are plenty of cool guys with swords out there, plenty of spirit worlds to explore, and plenty of Death Gods to vanquish, but there is only one Ichigo Kurosaki, one Soul Society, and one incredibly entertaining anime that will grab you and refuse to let go. For classic adventure with a slick, modern attitude, go no further than Bleach.
A great anime, one of my favorites. If I could complain about anything it would sometimes be some annoying dialogue, and having side stories in the middle of the main. But this is a great anime with great action, characters, and humor. I especially like the idea of the hollow monster inside the main hero, Ichigo.
If you watch any anime at all this year, make Bleach number 1 on that list.
My Anime List
I said it in the beginning, and I’ll say it again; try out Bleach at least once, desptie what Narutard, shonen haters or anyone else have said. It’s pretty enjoyable despite its lacks and faults, mostly in thanks to its great cast.
Even with the faults though, it’s still a good series worthy of checking out.
Jumping In Pools
I recommend watching at least the first part of the series to anyone and if they like it to keep going. Although the first 10 episodes are a little dry it gets much better because of course its just the start of an anime. It is filled with plenty of plot twists and of course it actually does not have the main character automatically being the strongest. Although he is quite powerful. There is also a comedy side to bleach which can be very very funny and yes I needed two ‘verys’ there. That is of course if you get the humor. I also enjoy the fight scenes because they almost never get boring with new things happening. Some things are just weird but that’s ok.
While I didn’t mind watching all of Bleach, I would only recommend a certain set of episodes to a new viewer. If you enjoy action and light hearted shōnen drama, you’ll enjoy Bleach. If you start to get bored of it early on though, you might want to simply begin skipping ahead.
It is a fine series to waste your synaptic functions upon, while trying to spot the troll of the week, but it ends nowhere near as good as it began, and doesn’t stand a ghost of a chance before other shonen like Hunter X Hunter or Full Metal Alchemist.
I could go on for days about the use of deus ex machina, about the awful soundtrack, the cheesiness, or the sheer blandness, but at this point it’ll be like beating a dead horse. If you’re not already convinced that this show is a waste of 180 hours of your life that you can never regain, then there’s nothing I could have said to help you. Watch ten, fifteen, maybe even twenty vastly superior anime instead; it will take you the same amount of time.
