Lux, a former prince of an empire named Arcadia that was overthrown via a rebellion five years earlier, accidentally trespasses in a female dormitory’s bathing area, sees the kingdom’s new princess Lisesharte naked, incurring her wrath. Lisesharte then challenges Lux to a Drag-Ride duel. Drag-Rides are ancient armored mechanical weapons that have been excavated from ruins all around the world. Lux used to be called the strongest Drag-Knight, but now he’s known as the “undefeated weakest” Drag-Knight because he will absolutely not attack in battle. After his duel with Lisesharte, Lux ends up attending the female-only academy that trains royals to be Drag-Knights. – My Anime List

In conclusion: Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle works well. That’s about as accurately as I can put it. The content isn’t exactly great, but the execution is good enough to make it better than your average battle harem. This is a very well done show, no doubt about it. Was it a fantastic series? No, definitely not. I wouldn’t even dare to use the word „good“ in connection with it. But it’s without a doubt better than the average set by its genre. Moreover, I can’t deny that this was one of the shows I was looking forward to the most on a week to week basis this last season. And that’s got to be worth something. A treat for fans of the genre, nothing more, nothing less.
Overall for the animation and story it was a good anime and I’d watch a second season but not the first again.
Not the best anime from this season for sure.
Having not the most original Storyline, it got my interest at the beginning.
But somewhere at the end I just lost it and stopped really caring about it… Let’s say I got slightly disturbed by lack of heart they put into making this anime.
Essentially, this was Infinite Stratos, but even worse. It’s hard to believe but they managed it. I only watched this because I did it together with Classy. This was probably the worst show we ever watched. And we’ve watched a lot of terrible shows. But it’s not even dumb enough to be entertaining. It’s middle of the road through and through. Neither cold nor hot, but merely lukewarm.
